The
minister of unification Yongpyo Hong participated in "World Leaders¡¯
Conservation Forum 2015" held in Jeju Island in the 8th to spread international
societies¡¯ the participation and support about DMZ World Eco-Peace Park.
Hong discussed conservation
and peace-building of border by opening a meeting "Leaders¡¯ Dialogues", the second
day event of "World Leaders¡¯ Conservation Forum 2015." He requested
the international society to work actively for DMZ World Eco-Peace Park. He planned
to discuss about the cooperation with international society through individual
meeting with representative of international organizations such as IUCN,
I.Andersen, C.Briggs.

Also, Hong discussed about mutual interest with Won
Hee-ryong (Governor, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province) and Sukmon Lee superintendent of education during this period of visit to Jeju.
With the governor Won and the ministry of unification, Hong talked
about cooperation of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
With the superintendent Lee, he would exchange the opinion about reinforcing
education of unification and future- oriented unification lessons.
